Does Nova DocScan use OpenAI or ChatGPT?
No. Unlike other scanner apps, Nova DocScan uses our own proprietary local Large Language Models (LLM) hosted on our secure, private servers. Your sensitive documents are never sent to third-party AI providers.
Are my scanned documents stored on your servers?
No. Your documents are securely uploaded via HTTPS, processed in-memory by our local LLMs, and then immediately deleted. Your scan history is only stored locally on your device.
Are my documents used to train AI models?
Never. We have a strict zero-training policy. The documents you process are never used to train, fine-tune, or improve our local LLMs.
Do my credits expire?
Credits purchased via one-time packs (Mini, Standard, Pro) never expire. Monthly Pro subscription credits reset at the start of each billing cycle.
How do I cancel my Monthly Pro subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your Apple ID at the top, select Subscriptions, and tap Nova DocScan to manage or cancel.
